Koinonia Circle
Koinonia is a Biblical term meaning: a small fellowship of caring friends.
Koinonia Circle is a women’s group that meets at Pilgrim Church on the 3rd Monday of the month at 1 p.m. in the church parlor. The meeting begins with some food and fellowship followed by one of the women in the group leading the discussion.
Those in attendance write their names on slips of paper and put them in a basket.
At the end of the meeting, each attendee is given an opportunity to share their concerns and blessings, only if they wish to do so. Then the basket is passed around and each person draws out a name. This is the name of the woman she will pray for that month.
To close the meeting we stand, holding hands, and together we say the Lord’s Prayer. Then we turn to one another and share hugs.
