Adult Faith Formation

Pilgrim Church offers opportunities for adults to explore scripture, theology, and faith through thoughtful conversation and shared learning. Throughout the year, we host studies and discussion series designed to deepen understanding, encourage reflection, and strengthen spiritual connection within our church community.

The Church and The Sacraments

A Conversation with a Catholic Priest and a Protestant Minister

Pilgrim Church invites adults to a new three-part education series held on three consecutive Monday evenings:

  • March 23
  • March 30
  • April 6
  • 7:00–8:30 PM

This special series, “The Church and the Sacraments,” will feature a conversation between Rev. John Kearns, a Catholic priest, and Rev. Greg Keosaian, a Protestant minister.

Together, Revs. John and Greg will examine the biblical texts that undergird the sacraments, with particular focus on Baptism and Holy Communion. Through guided discussion, they will compare and contrast the ways their respective faith traditions interpret these texts and celebrate the sacraments in the life of the Church.

This series offers a meaningful opportunity to learn, reflect, and engage in respectful ecumenical conversation about the shared roots and distinct practices of Christian faith traditions.

All Are Welcome

Whether you are a longtime church member, new to Pilgrim, or simply interested in deepening your understanding of Christian faith and practice, you are warmly invited to attend.

The words of the mouth are deep waters; the fountain of wisdom is a gushing stream.
