Holy Week services

Concerns about the spread of the coronavirus pandemic have currently prompted the Commonwealth of Massachusetts to limit in-person gatherings.

Because of this, Pilgrim Church is limiting the number of people who may attend its Holy Week worship services. Here is what is planned:

Palm Sunday

March 28, 10 a.m. worship in the sanctuary: Attendance limited to 75 people. Pre-registration is requested.

Maundy Thursday

April 1, 7 p.m. Tenebrae Service of Shadows in the sanctuary: Virtual service on Facebook and YouTube.

Easter Sunday

April 4, 6 a.m. sunrise service on Duxbury Beach: Attendance unlimited, but social distancing required.

10 a.m. worship service in the sanctuary: Attendance limited to 75 people. Registration required.

Please check out our Facebook page for up-to-date information about services and activities currently being offered.

You can watch any of our Sunday morning services by logging onto our Facebook or YouTube pages.

If you would like to participate with commentary during our Sunday morning worship services, please log onto www.facebook.com/uccduxbury/live any Sunday at 10 a.m., where you can submit live prayer requests or join in the commentary.

You do not have to have a Facebook account to watch these services, but you do need to have an account if you want to comment.

We continue to evaluate attendance limitations based on recommendations from the state and federal governments.

Safety protocols, including the wearing of masks, social distancing, the use of sanitizers and no singing remain in effect. But we believe that it is safe to increase the in-person attendance number.
